Stop the cruelty of Miniscule/Aquababies aquariums

To:  ASPCA and RSPCA

We the undersigned demand an end to the trade in miniscule aquariums such as aquababies.
The keeping of aquatic life in these containers is nothing more than cruelty and must end.

Animal cruelty comes in many forms. One type that many people are unaware of is the keeping of fish and other small aquatic life in containers that are too small for the fish to live in.
We strongly encourage consumers to purchase containers that are suitable and to boycott all stores selling these little plastic boxes of death.

The companies selling these micro aquariums claim that fish have been specially bred for these containers, this is totally incorrect.
The amount of food recommended is barely enough to keep the livestock alive.
Temperature of the containers will fluctuate considerably; one company even says a temperature of between 60-85 F is safe.
They are unfiltered so therefore will become polluted very quickly.
