Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey and it’s President and CEO, William J. Marino are eliminating The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and The University of Pennsylvania Health System from their list of in-network providers, effective March 2009. Their decision will adversely affect countless sick children that live in New Jersey. CHOP is our country’s preeminent children's hospital and taking it’s services away from the people that need them most is reprehensible.

Please lend your support to this petition and then visit www.ardensday.com to witness first-hand how this heartless penny-pinching will effect one little girl that is stricken with type I diabetes. The site will also show you how to send a letter of protest to Horizon, Mr. Marino and your representatives in Washington D.C..
