Robotech Masters/Southern Cross Merchandise

To:  Harmony Gold USA, Inc.

For over two years now, we, the undersigned, have patiently awaited news of any merchandise relating to the Robotech Masters Saga (originally entitled Super Dimensional Cavalry: Southern Cross) other than DVDs. We have applauded Harmony Gold for showing interest in reviving Robotech and eagerly await much of the new merchandise that is being produced.

In the past, there were several polls conducted at Robotech.com asking whether or not members wanted merchandise from the Robotech Masters Saga/Southern Cross. The overwhelming majority (three thousand plus per poll) voted in favor of toys based on the mecha of the Army of the Southern Cross. There is a market for these toys and it was proven in those polls.

We feel that if Harmony Gold, and its various license holders, would give the Robotech Masters Saga a chance that it would be a tremendous financial opportunity. No other company currently produces toys for this series and so the field is totally open. There is absolutely no competition (unlike The Macross Saga which has reached saturation levels). We have remained loyal fans and would hope that Harmony Gold and its license holders would reward that faith instead of spurning it in favor of more merchandise for The Macross Saga.
