Help the AVON Ladies!

AVON is known as the company for women, yet it is hurting the very women upon which it stands. The Independent Sales Representatives have built AVON up to the great company that it is today, yet the kind of thanks that is offered to those reps is a kick in the face. Instead of offering strong support to the reps out in the field, AVON has become direct competition to the very women who are out in the world exposing people to the product.
The website known as AVON.com offers specials, prices, items and gift with purchases that the Independent Sales Representatives cannot offer without taking a loss. This makes it very difficult for reps to build and promote a successful business, because our customers can go online and get more of the products for even less money!! AVON has become known for the “AVON Ladies” and the wonderful and friendly service that we provide, but if the parent company continues to undersell its reps…eventually those reps will become extinct.
We, the undersigned, petition to AVON to change the format of AVON.com to benefit the reps instead of hurting them. We ask that the site no longer offer specials and items that reps cannot offer to their customers, and for customers to no longer be able to order directly from AVON.com. Instead, we ask that the site refer the online customers to an e-rep in their area, by typing in their area code. That way both the parent company and the Independent Sales Reps win and everyone makes money!
