To:  David Miller

The undersigned seek a reevaluation of the terms of the Toronto bylaw regarding the distribution of single-use plastic shopping bags. With the intention of helping the City of Toronto reach its goal of diverting 70% of waste from landfills by 2010, we ask that a portion of the fees from the sale of single-use bags be collected and redistributed to eco-friendly initiatives citywide. (An example would be subsidization of corporate and/or domestic use of biodegradable bags.)

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
