Ban the Bag in Bellingham

To:  Bellingham's City Council

We the undersigned, in order to curb our consumption of plastic bags, support the implementation of a minimal consumption based fee on plastic bags in Bellingham, WA. We believe this fee will be an effective way to raise awareness about consumption of plastic bags and will help to reduce the environmental and societal costs that result from these bags.
