Bill Bailey for the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009

We, the undersigned, believe that Bill Bailey is the best opportunity that the United Kingdom has to win the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009.

Too many times have we stared failure in the face and hung our heads in shame as Terry Wogan laments the UK's effort and the problems with the contest itself. We need someone who can unite the blocs of Europe in song.

Therefore we believe that he should put himself forward as a contender for said contest in the BBC's selection programme in 2009. We only hope he is able to, having had to commit to his tour of Austraila this year.
