We the undersigned Vancouver residents call on Vancouver Mayor and City Council to refuse to review any applications for gaming expansion in our city until the government of British Columbia agrees to honour its 1999 Memorandum of Agreement with the British Columbia Association of Charitable Gaming, or negotiate a new agreement in good faith for the protection of charities and non-profits.

Access to gaming revenue for charities is a fundamental value in Canada. It is unfair that gambling revenues have sky-rocketed, while the charities and non-profits who made them possible are denied access to those revenues. We the undersigned Vancouverites ask City Council to support the charities and non-profits that provide crucial social and community services in our city.
