Joshua And Caleb Thompson - No Parole |
To: Parole And Pardon Board of TexasOn December 10, 2003 24 year old twins Joshua and Caleb Thompson were convicted in Austin, Texas by a jury for the brutal beating of an 11 year old boy for not studying his Bible like they instructed him in a school operated by Capital City Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. Now it is claimed by some ministers and others that the State of Texas is vindictive towards christians who break the law and did not give the Thompsons' a fair trial.
This is completely untrue and we, the undersigned wish to remind you that Joshua and Caleb Thompson were found guilty by a jury chosen by both the prosecution and the defense.
We, as loyal citizens of the United States and the State of Texas present you this petition urging you to hold fast the judgement of the jury and not cut short their just sentence. We believe child abuse is very bad and do not want to see the jury system tampered with.
Thank you for your consideration of this pertition and our prayer that God will bless you in the service wherin you serve.Sincerely,
