Mac OS developers lack the benefits of a solid RAD development tool. Apples own Developer tools while free and usefull lacks RAD and have a steep learning curve for new developers.
Borland with its superior Delphi/Kylix RAD tools and Mac with a history of Pascal development would be a good combination.
This requires Borland to modify their Object Pascal compiler to target PowerPC (Useful for targeting both Mac OS and PowerPC based Linux), rewrite CLX to allow for Mac/Windows/Linux one source many targets development and prefably a new API to take full advantage of Mac OS X Cocoa framework.
It is my firm belief that the investment cost for Borland would be fully returned with great profit as well as please many Mac developers. I therefor start this petition to show Borland that there is an interest in such a product.
