We implore the developers and publisher of Battlefield 2, namely EA and Dice, to change how easy it is to accidentally erase a user's game profile and with it all associated accumulated stats and awards. A profile for Battlefield 2 should not be deletable through any seemingly unrelated online service, such as Fileplanet or a forum service.

We hereby urge EA and Dice to change this and restrict the deletion of Battlefield 2 profiles to properly labelled websites or in-game. This is to prevent the accidental loss of hundreds of hours of work that your loyal customers have invested in your product.
