Betty Hutton was among the biggest stars of her time. Her films made a mint at the box office and she was ranked as one of Americas most beloved screen performers, yet only three of her films have been officially released on DVDThe Miracle of Morgans Creek, The Greatest Show on Earth and Annie Get Your Gun.

For years, her films have been sitting in the Universal/Paramount vaults, rarely licensed for television and never prepared for home video release. In these films are some of the most memorable screen performances of their time and Betty Huttons co-stars in these films include a slew of other Hollywood legendsBob Hope, Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, William Holden, Fred MacMurray, Alan Ladd, Dick Powell, and countless others.

In recent years, Universal has issued DVD collections of former Paramount stars as part of their Franchise Collections (such as the Screen Legend Collection and the Glamour Collection) and there is now a demand for a Betty Hutton film collection of similar magnitude. As new books continue to be written and published about Ms. Hutton and her film career, and new compilation albums of her film songs continue to be released, it is unfortunate that the actual films in which there is so much interest have never been released on home video before.

We, the undersigned, would like Universal and/or Paramount to release a Betty Hutton film collection on DVD. The films that have yet to be released on DVD include: The Fleets In, Happy Go Lucky, Lets Face It, And The Angels Sing, Here Come the Waves, Incendiary Blonde, Cross My Heart, Dream Girl and Red, Hot and Blue (Universal titles), Lets Dance and Somebody Loves Me (Paramount titles).
