Since 1915 Bideawee‘s Wantagh location has been the community’s only no-kill facility to shelter and rehabilitate homeless animals until they find their forever homes. Closing means more animals will be killed in the already overcrowded municipal shelters.
We, the undersigned, request that Bideawee postpone closing this shelter to give the community a chance to preserve this safe haven for our community’s animals.
