Save The Auto Industry |
To: U.S. SenateThis is for Americans to get their voices heard in the Auto Industry Bailout controversy. I and the following people feel like the U.S. Senate is treating The Big 3 Automakers unfairly.

Why is the government asking so many questions regarding this bailout when they were quick to "rescue" Wall Street? Government officials are questioning how these companies are ran and how they've been preforming but all those companies that got bailed out loaned money to people who probably couldn't pay them back, still have corporate employees getting bonuses and who are now asking more more help. If the government took a better look at the auto makes they would see that most of them have been giving pay cuts, layoffs, shutting down plants and now some are cutting benefits to employees over the age 65. It is not the Auto Industries fault. Americans are struggling and can't afford to buy their products and now the industry is failing but if WE let them fall completely, where will we all be without the jobs they offer us? This economy will surely see a depression. Can you stand back and let the Government Officials, who aren't effected either way, make this decision for us? Please, if you still aren't sure, do some research and do the right thing. It's our right.Sincerely,
