Please Nintendo, go hardcore again

Dear Nintendo-friends… , or should I say EX-friends? Because after what we’ve seen on this year’s E3 we all suffer from depressions and disappointment-issues. We, hardcore gamers, only got 1 thing and it’s Animal Crossing with voice chat that I, for example, will never be able to use because my friends don’t like Animal Crossing! We have to stand up against this trend; Nintendo has to be forced not to forget about us!





And they should learn how to do FUN presentation because their presentation sucked, I mean sometimes I was just bored, they we’re having “fun” on stage but everybody else was just bored to death!





This year’s E3 was their once in a lifetime chance to blow everybody, including the competition, away with incredible announcements. I actually expected them to announce great stuff, like:





- Animal Crossing – No massively multiplayer online game?


They could raise the bar so high for this genre, but they didn’t!


- Kid Icarus – Come on, we all expected it!


- A Wii-specific Zelda game – Where is it?


(Yes, it’s being made, but we knew that the day Twilight Princess was out!


Why no trailer or 1 simple screenshot???)


- Storage solution – Where is it??? I don’t see it…


- Firmware-updates with new functions.


You are Nintendo; you can come up with original non-gaming activities to


fill the Wii menu!


- And there’s more, so much more that they could've announced,


but noooooooooooooooo…





Because of this and other mistakes they made, you MUST sign this petition. Please, it's for our own AND for Nintendo that we have to show them that we're not okay with us being loyal to them but they no longer to us.





I wanted to ask for a TEMPORARY boycott of Animal Crossing for Wii by asking everybody not to buy it in the first 2 weeks. Like that Nintendo Share-holders will be mad (because their investment doesn’t generate enough money) and will force Nintendo not to focus ENTIRELY on the casual gamer. We’re the ones buying the most games per console not the casuals!


But this action would never work because we can’t wait to get our hands on Animal Crossing ;-)
