What has transpired over the last 24 hours is a shame and severe blow to the QotSA internet community. We all wished that this had never happened.

The trust has been destroyed. After all of the insider news, extra songs and gifts you've given us, a select few of the board members have betrayed you. Rekords Rekords acknowledges all that you have given us, and we owe you nothing but our gratitude. For those of you who are responsible, thank you for fucking up something wonderful.

Blank, allow us to apologize on their behalf. We are sorry for what has happened, and hope for nothing more than your hasty return to us. Although I'm sure this won't happen in the immediate future, and I'm not sure if you'd ever be willing supply us with any golden giveaways ever again, I urge you to think back upon what you've done for us. You have been a vital part of the community. You've continuously dropped us never-before heard tracks in-between albums to keep the new QotSA jams never running dry.

You leaving is like a team captain leaving a team. You're the forum's Brett Favre, minus the interception record.

No matter how long you'll be gone, if and when you return you'll be coming back to a group of people who deeply appreciate all that you've done. Your presence alone without anything extra would be enough to satisfy those of us who already miss it.
