Defective Xbox 360's |
To: Better Business BureauI bought the Xbox 360 at launch November 22nd, 2005. Since my purchase I have had to replace the system, controller, headset and even the hard drive! My brother has a system as well and his died on him last month. Tonight my refurbished system they sent back to me back in March, 2006 is dying as well.
I have bought many systems in the past and I also am a computer technician and know proper care for these machines. Every single person I know that has purchased a 360 has had one crap out on them at one point in time. We haven't even had these things a year and they only last an average of 5 months!
Microsoft recently realized that the number of defective systems was higher than they thought before and even offered to reimburse the poor souls that had to pay for repairs after their 90 day warranty was up... but only if you bought the system in 2005. Here it is the next year and THEY ARE STILL CRAPPING OUT!
I'm sick and tired of us consumers getting these recycled pieces of crap back from Microsoft knowing that they are only going to break again. Something must be done. We need a class action lawsuit. We need help.
Together, we can do something about this! Let us be heard instead of playing the role of the silent victims!Sincerely,
