Bristol must have the Arena |
To: Bristol City CouncilBristol City Council has recently scrapped plans for Bristol's long awaited City Arena. The Temple Quay site was purchased using £10.8M of taxpayers money and having spent £4.2M cleaning up the site the Council are to spend a further £15M building roads and drains etc. to get the site ready to sell to developers.
All of this means that Bristol will still be without a venue for large events and the crowds that attend these events will be spending their money in Birmingham or Cardiff.
We at Bristol Rocks believe that the people of Bristol want the Bristol Arena and that Bristol Council has failed its people once again.
