*IF* the SciFi Channel plans to destroy the legacy of "Battlestar Galactica", this petition is for sending an extremely strong message to the people in charge of the new production at StudiosUSA, Universal Pictures, and The SciFi Channel.

The message: We, the fans of "Battlestar Galactica" will not support any new production of Battlestar Galactica that drastically changes the series format and "re-imagines" it to something different than what it originally was.

By signing this petition, we fans are saying that we will not endorse the proposed "re-imagined" miniseries, or support any merchandising campaign based on it, if it does not include a direct linage of the original series (not counting BSG-80), include core members of the original cast in their original roles, and include the original Galactica ship.

We, the fans, support the ideas put forth by producer Tom DeSanto (who had been working on a revival project of his own for over a year now).

Fans, make your voice be heard loud and clear to those responsible for this latest production-

We will NOT to support a "Battlestar Galactica" re-imagining that does not follow the original series. Act now, before it's too late!
