We, the undersigned, have taken notice of the proposal by former Lebanese minister of public works, Najib Mikati, of renaming Beirut International Airport as "Rafik Hariri's International Airport-Beirut," which was made in a letter addressed to the Lebanese government on February 22nd, 2005.
We think that this proposal is the minimum for acknowledging the post-war accomplishments of the late Lebanese Prime minster Rafik Hariri, who was savagely murdered by regressive forces on February 14th.
We want to know how this proposal is handled and we express our strong support for it.
