Bring back Catherine Hardwicke as Director for New Moon

This petition goes out to the thousands of twilight fans out in the world, whether they are fans of the movie, the books or both the movie and the books. We are requesting that rather then keep Chris Weitz as director for New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, you rehire Catherine Hardwicke who did an absolutely amazing job of directing Twilight. She succeeded in making Twilight a box office smash hit hit rather than a cult movie and the loyal fans fear that if Mr. Weitz is kept on board for New Moon and beyond, the Twilight saga of films will become just that, cult movies. We understand your reasons for dismissing Ms. Hardwicke but she is the best choice of director for these films and Mrs. Meyer agrees that she did a great job on Twilight. And if Mrs. Meyer liked her, who are you to switch directors two-fourths of the way thought the saga???
