A Plea for the Creation of a New Canadian Province Comprised of Progressive States Now Part of the United States of America

To:  Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith; and the Governor-General, Prime Minister and Members of the Parliament of CANADA

WHEREAS the United States of America is slowly but surely falling into fascist dictatorship;

and

WHEREAS the progressive and fundamentalist mindsets that divide the people of the United States of America are irreconcilable;

and

WHEREAS progressive and liberal citizens of the United States of America are tired of being laughed at by our cousins around the world because of the out-dated, regressive, and fascist beliefs of our unenlightened southern and right-wing "Christian" co-nationalists;

and

WHEREAS we desire to avert the outbreak of a Second Civil War in the United States of America;

We, the undersigned, as un-elected representatives of our respective states within the United States of America, do hereby formally request the creation of a new province within Canada that would comprise all progressive states within the United States of America and grant full and complete Canadian citizenship to the population of those states without prejudice.
