I Got Screwed By Comcast

Dear Consumers,

This petition has been created by a private citizen in order to pressure Comcast to improve their service to their customers if they want people to continue to use their product. For too long, Comcast services have gotten worse for consumers with every bit of growth and monopoly that the company itself has achieved. Because of the lack of competition in the cable market, Comcast has been protected from any, if not all, punishment for things such as cutting back on quality home services, requiring long lines to return cable boxes that were once picked up from homes, and the hiring of outrageously incompetent individuals to install communication "upgrades" that do more harm than good to both homes and businesses.

As United States citizens, we must use our rights to say NO MORE to incompetent repairmen, NO MORE to waiting for hours for service to be repaired after they themselves knocked it out, and NO MORE to this abuse of power perpetuated by Comcast's monopoly on millions of people's ability to communicate and watch television without the rights that would be given in a more competitive telecommunications market.

If you have your own story of Comcast's lousy service, PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION WITH YOUR NAME AND YOUR PERSONAL STORY IN THE COMMENTS. If we get enough signatures, we can send this to the Better Business Bureau and make a difference for or rights to communicate without being put under the stranglehold of this growing monopoly on our rights to use the products that most of us take for granted.
