Lingwell Road Residents Require Urgent Help

The council needs to intervene in local dispute!




The undersigned Lingwell Road Residents request urgent action on an escalating and long standing local dispute.









We feel that council intervention is urgent.









The residents of Lingwell Road have been using a thoroughfare through a block of flats located in Rathmines Road. This practice has been in operation for over 25 years. The thoroughfare was foot traffic only and now car access has been allowed.









A bollard has been recently removed by the Flat Occupants .This was blocking a laneway connecting Lingwell Road and Rathmines Road. Thus making the area now a throughway for cars.









We feel there is significant traffic and social harmony issues at play.




There have been threats of violence and many incidents of local friction over this issue.




Please can the council help us resolve this issue peacefully?
