Save Cayucos California from Over Development

Concerning the proposed Cayucos Del Mar mixed use development, pending permits; PMT2005-03308, SUB2005-00241, SUB2003-00220, DRC2006-00064, G840025M and parcels; 064-263-025, 064-263-036, 064-263-052, 064-263-053, located at Ocean Boulevard and Old Creek Road in Cayucos, California.

We, the Concerned Citizens of Cayucos being residents, property or business owners in the town of Cayucos, California, along with other interested parties*, submit this petition for your consideration.

The undersigned hereby state unified opposition to this development as it has been proposed, on the grounds including but not limited to:

Major Traffic Increase

Hazards to Traffic Flow and Pedestrian Safety

Our Children's Safety (the site is currently a school bus stop)

Total Incompatibility with the Surrounding Residential Neighborhood

Visual Impact (larger than surrounding residences, blocking sunlight and views)

Architectural Style

Increased Noise, Light and Air Pollution

Water and Sewer Usage

Commercial Deliveries and Garbage Collection

Parking Issues

Sets an Undesirable Precedent

We request that the development be reasonable in size and consistent with the surrounding neighborhood and are asking for your support in this.
