Help bring back the peace to Chapman's Retreat and surrounding communities in Spring Hill, Tennessee!

If you are a Chapman's Retreat resident and have noticed an increase in "booming" or "blaring" music coming from vehicles on your street or on the streets of your neighborhood you are not alone.

Chapman's Retreat is a nice place to live, but that is being tarnished by these so called "boomers" and their loud, obnoxious, and vulgar music which is being played at levels well beyond that of public disturbance.
The music that is played on these car audio systems often contains vulgar lyrics, filled with profanity that you would probably prefer your children not hear.

In 2007 our tax dollars paid for an expensive device that is used by the police department to measure sound levels to determine if someone's activities, including playing their car stereo, is too loud. Please help us bring this matter to the attention of the Spring Hill Police Department by signing this petition asking them to step up their efforts to enforce the disturbance of the peace laws on our streets using this device.

We will print and present this petition to the chief of police in early 2009. So please sign it soon and send this link to your neighbors.
