We the undersigned, urge Charlotte County, Florida’s State Attorney’s office to seek full felony charges against Albert Taylor, Charlotte County school bus driver, in the bus brawl incident which occurred on May 17, 2005.



We futher urge the State Attorney’s office to not accept a lesser plea but to press fully to ensure that Mr. Taylor is incarcerated for his crime. State Attorney, although not easy, this is the right thing to do and in the best interest of Charlotte County citizens, especially our children.



Mr. Taylor has demonstrated by his past actions that he presents a clear and present menace to Charlotte County citizens and futher dismissal of his actions will eventually result in an event more tragic than this.



Mr. Taylor’s disrespect for not waiting on the called (request) deputy and acting with total rage on a self defending child can only stop once he is truly punished for his actions.



We futher urge the State Attorney to obtain a dismiss of all charges filed against Mark & Corey. If not for the actions perused by Mr. Taylor the incidents that occurred on the school bus never would have came about. These children were acting in self-defense, protecting each other against an adult who should have maintained self-control.
