Whereas Michael Moore made public comments urging Canadians to vote a certain way during the last federal election,
Whereas Michael Moore is not a Canadian citizen or a resident of Canada,
Whereas Part 11, Division 9, section 331 of the Canada Elections Act, it is an offence for "[Any] person who does not reside in Canada [to], during an election period, in any way induce electors to vote or refrain from voting for a particular candidate unless the person is (a) a Canadian citizen; or (b) a permanent resident."
We ask Jean-Pierre Kingsley, Chief Electoral Officer of Canada to charge Michael Moore according to the relevant sections of Canada Elections Act.
