A Petition to Lower Gas Prices

To:  President George W. Bush

Your fellow Americans are in turmoil right now. Not only are we living in war times, now because of this "war" we now are paying upwards of $2.69 a gallon for gas. It is costing families more money everyday to get to and from work & any other place we want to go. We are not making any more money and minimum wage has not been raised. Millions of americans can not even afford gas! This is a crisis President Bush! If you care about the citizens of this country, most of whom voted for you, then you will do something to end this. If we can't afford gas then we are not going to be able to go to work and thus will lose our jobs. This will start a chain reaction that could damage our economy! You have to do something and we hope that by signing this petition that you will see that we are serious. Please help us President Bush, you are our only hope!
