High Speed Internet For Chino Hills Now

To:  Our city leaders, and the local phone & cable utilities

We, the citizens of Chino Hills, are tired of broken promises regarding high-speed Internet connectivity. Most of us access the Internet from our homes and many of us depend on it because we conduct work out of our homes online. We are tired of having to dial up with unreliable 56k modem speeds. We are tired of being disconnected and having to reconnect over and over. We want (and many of us need) faster connectivity that can only be provided at reasonable costs by our local telephone and cable companies. We are a professional and modern community and feel entitled to receive modern services.

This petition started out as a Butterfield Ranch neighborhood petition, but we have since discovered that this is a city-wide problem and have expanded the scope to include our entire city. Those early signatures can be seen at:

By signing this petition, we are expressing our support of efforts to get our community connected at higher speeds so that we can be more productive. We want to encourage our city leaders to make our communications infrastructure a priority. We encourage them to work with the phone companies and cable provider so that high speed Internet can become a reality in our community.
