Save Chlavis Campaign

To:  The Smallville Showrunners and the CW

We, the Chloe and Davis fans of the world urgently request that the CW save our favorite characters. There is a large fan base, several in the 14-34 female demographic, that is dedicated to Chlavis, Chloe Sullivan, and Davis Bloome from your popular show Smallville currently aired Thursday nights at 8pm eastern time, and we feel that if the CW and TPTB drop these characters and pairing, it would seriously hurt the credibility of the network and lose ratings from their highest rated show.

We feel it would be a mistake to have the wonderful character of Davis Bloome lose his struggle with the monster within; evil triumphing over good; to have a character become a villain against his own free will. We would rather see Beauty (Chloe) find a way to save the Beast (Davis). We think that there should be some hope for Davis, as we don’t want to see a mindless beast walking around Smallville when we have this beautifully layered character instead.

We also feel it would be a mistake to kill off the beloved Smallville character, Chloe Sullivan. She is the eyes and ears of Smallville, and the reason why many of us tune in week after week. To lose her, would be to lose the heart of the show.

If the two actors must leave the show, then please we request that they leave in a blaze of glory in epic, romantic style. Please do not have Davis “cease to exist.” Please do not turn Chloe into a villain. And please do not kill them off so other characters can better fill their destiny. Instead, let them leave together, good triumphing over evil, and go off to live happy, fulfilled lives in whatever creative way you wish!

So please, don't drop Chlavis, Chloe Sullivan, or Davis Bloome.
