It the past few years, you have awarded Knighthoods to American people who have made an outstanding contribution to society in the UK, such as Stephen Spielberg. Now I ask you to consider offering a KBE to another outstanding American who's influence has been outstanding in the last 10 years: and that man's name is Homer Simpson.

Ever since his birth in 1987, Homer's antics have amused many around, and his influence on UK society is evident by the fact that even the English Dictionary recognises some of the things he says as real words.

Please don't prevent a worldwide hero from becoming a knight, and on your next Honor's List, just remember to include Homer at the top of your list.
