Cocotis home appeal |
To: Lafayette City CouncilOn 3/2/06, the Lafayette Planning Commission approved a nearly 6,000sf home on a Class 2 protected Burton Valley ridgeline at 11 Hawk Canyon Place (owned by Paul and Alison Cocotis). While we acknowledge that this is a very difficult lot to develop and the Cocotis' have tried to reduce the visual impact of their home, we still feel that the Planning Commission has not adequately enforced the city's Hillside Ordinance.
We respectfully urge the City Council to overturn the Planning Commission's approval and instruct the Cocotis' to reduce the size of their home such that its visual impact to the surrounding community is significantly lessened.Sincerely,
