Free Toll Road Access for CA Motorcyclists

To:  California State Assembly Committee on Transportation

Because motorcycles do not weigh much and, therefore, do not cause damage to the current roads; are a low emission vehicle capable of achieving over 40 mpg on the highway; require less spaces than traditional motor vehicles; and are already allowed to pass through freely on the 91 Express Lanes when passing through the 3+ lane.

We the undersigned in response to rules governing motorcycle usage of the current toll roads and future plans for additional toll roads do petition the following:

That the State of California pass a law allowing free access, without initial cost, to all existing and future toll roads for those traveling on a motorcycle.
