Call of Duty for MLG events in the 09 season

We the Call of Duty 4 community believe that Call of Duty 4 should be an active game at MLG 09 events. To keep this simple and sweet I want inform every (in case you did not know already) that Call of Duty 4 is still the most active game on the gamebattles website. Even with the game being out for over a year this is still as much hype about this game in the community as there was day 1.

For the 2008 MLG season COD4 was very active between the pro circuit ladders 1-3. When COD4 was announced to have the championships in Vegas there was an unreal amount of support for this discussion. Although many teams were not able to attend because of their record throughout the PCLs this community gave all their support to the players who were lucky enough to attend. The main reason for this was because our community wanted to show the rest of the competitive gaming world that COD4 can be a force to reckon with. FeaR showed this greatly by winning the event and giving COD4 the exposure it deserved.

The hype heading into the 09 season was extraordinary that our beloved game could potentially be a choice for the events during the 09 season. The online gamebattle tournaments are a living proof that this community does care about this game and wants to see if succeed. Not only did COD4 fill more Holiday Classics (4) and a New Years Bash but we have also supported two singles tournaments. That’s more than any game on gamebattles has filled, the next highest tournament success has come out of the Gears of War 2 community with 4 team tournaments.

We feel that it would be a mistake not to have COD4 at events for the 09 season and the names listed below are fellow supporters of the idea.
