Dear Electronic Arts!

I, as a very big Command&Conquer fan, having played all parts except RA3, have just read your announcement about C&C 4, and was shocked about some things.

1. No Basebuilding.
2. = no Command & Conquer.

Seriously, if you want to make a game without basebuilding, do it! ...
But don't name it Command&Conquer, because it doesn't deserve that title!

3. SAGE Engine
If you give a slow PC system a new stylish case, its still dead slow, as is that engine. When will you finally make a new one?

4. RPG Elements, to force you to play 100 hours to release the games full potential.. Hello? We kinda have a real life, too. And I want to have the full game with all units/researches/buildings from the beginning, at least in one game mode, if I pay money for it.

5. Objective based skirmish
WE WANT DEATHMATCH AND TEAM DEATHMATCH!!! That's what makes a C&C. We dont want a Dawn of War 2.2 !!! No stupid Flagcapturing...

6. You have to be online to play all time and let me guess: no LAN?
= No buy. Sry but I started to hate this arrogant Publisher behaviour long ago. If you want to muck on us honest loyal buyers of C&C, we will start mucking back, by not buying the game.. You say the fanboys will safe you? No they won't! They are just a small number in the C&C community.

7. And for my last point, the screenshot released on gamespot, looks like an ugly fanbase mod for C&C3. Why are you always rushing for your product?? Do your bosses force you to? Well tell them from the fanbase, they will loose even more money if they release C&C4 early on, instead of investing the money needed in a more fully developed end product. We, the fans are all agreeing to wait for a good C&C, even if it takes another 2 years. As long as its good we gonna buy it. But obviously you want to realease along with Starcraft 2. You know how long that has been in development? Well compare to your own spent time and do the simple maths, that is needed to see who wins the domniance on the market...

I am glad that you will give us another C&C, but please don't destroy the name of it, by overthrowing everything that constituted it.
