As Ontarians we appreciate the service that you provide moving people around the province. By providing opportunities for individuals to commute through out the province reduces congestion on our busy highways, is more environmentally friendly, and makes for a much more relaxing transit experience. Your work helps connect communities and makes moving around southern Ontario more accessible for those who are unable to drive a personal vehicle. Recently with your introduction of bike racks on your bus fleet clearly demonstrates your commitment to the environment and makes cycling more accessible.

Several months ago Coach Canada, decided to cut several of its routes across Canada. One of these routes was the route connecting the city of Hamilton with the city of Guelph (a 43km distance a 43 minute drive). Currently for individuals needing to commute between these two locations must transfer via Square One, in Mississauga (+100km distance a 2 hour, 10 minute drive). This discrepancy makes it very demanding on ones schedule if they wish to attempt to commute via public transit between these two cities.

Considering that long history of transit service offered between Guelph and Hamilton, and the hundreds of individuals who have relied on this service including students at McMaster & Guelph Universities we the undersigned would like to request that GO Transit pick up the service connecting these two urban centres.
