The use or abuse perhaps, of the english word 'absolutly' has become one of the most annoying and irritating inappropriately used words in the english language. Everyone from polititians, broadcasters, presenters, guests on TV and radio shows to your own family, friends, colleagues and sometimes complete strangers you getting chatting to, use this word as a way of emphasising their agreement with a simple question they've been asked.
There is not a day passes where I dont physically recoil everytime I hear 'that word,' particularly on our flagship broacasters, the BBC's, main stations, such as BBC News, BBC Breakfast and Radio 2.
It's driving me insane and i'm sure it's doing that to others too.
So... please add your name to this free online petition and when we have a sizeable petition it will be delivered to the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and other media companies / press around the UK.
Thanks... I would be __________ delighted to gain your support! :-)
