We, the undersigned residents of Glen Ellyn living on Crescent Boulevard and the surrounding areas respectfully request the County of DuPage and the Village of Glen Ellyn to extend the sidewalk from the existing sidewalk along the south side of Crescent Boulevard, located east of Glenbard West High School, to include, at the very least, the incorporated property at 21W302 Crescent Boulevard in Glen Ellyn.

The combination of the lack of a shoulder in many segments, the speed at which vehicles travel, and the curvy nature of the road makes Crescent Boulevard a significant safety hazard and has been in need of a sidewalk for years, as many young individuals walk or ride bikes to and from Glenbard West High School, businesses in Downtown Glen Ellyn, and Churchill Woods Forest Preserve.
