A Fair Child Support system

We, as Parents and Guardians having dealt with, and or currently dealing with the Child Support Agency, support the following changes to the Current system.

We demand a fairer, better resourced, comprehensively monitored, and more accountable system for the payment of Child Support. We demand the processes involved in separation and child support responsibilities be more equitable for all parties involved.


We Demand:
More resources, systems, checks and balances for the accurate monitoring of income earned.

We Demand:
Harsher penalties for supplying incorrect income, and contact information to the child support agency.

We Demand:
The ability to sue for back payment including interest, from time of separation, rather than limited cut-off periods.

We demand a fairer system, where custodial parents/Guardian's and their children are not financially impacted and disadvantaged by the non custodial parent's/Guardian's decision to have more children in the future.

We Demand:
Legally enforceable penalties for non payment, and late payment; including, but not limited to; license suspensions, registration cancellations, garnishee orders, property seizure orders, and reimbursement in the way of interest, and any other necessary costs incurred by the custodial parent/guardian due to non payment.
