Gaming Keygens, and CD Keys

I'd like to be able to use my Counter Strike Condition Zero CD Key! This is utter crap, with the new Steam system that valve has designed you lose your CD keys and can never obtain them again! If I want to uninstall the game and give it to someone else... well that's not possible, you've got to give them your steam account... and what happens if you've got several other games installed? You're screwed, that's what happens! Total BS, I want control over my own CD keys, not some friggin program!
