We, the undersigned, request and demand that the Canadian Federal Government conduct a formal multiparty public investigation into the practices of collection agencies that collect on defaulted Canada Student Loans. And as part of the parliamentary process, interview students who claim abuses as a result of their practices. I am one such postsecondary graduate student (http://members.shaw.ca/csl_survivor/). These companies must be reigned in, and made accountable. And, if they continue to act outside Provincial and Federal laws, then they must be dropped from collecting student loans.
