To:  Congress

One day, in fact, the 31st of December, 2001, I was talking with my friend Chris Haggqvist over AIM. We had been discussing just how good Cup Noodles are. In case you don't know what Cup Noodles are, they are tasty snacks made with ramen noodles, containing the noodles, along with various vegetables and some sort of meat, usually beef or chicken. They can be made in minutes and serve as a tasty and nutritious meal for growing bodies and minds. Both of us are very fond of these Cup Noodles, so fond, in fact, that we feel they deserve a bit more recognition. You see, Cup Noodles are just so damn good that we both feel they should be made the national food.

Naturally, we feel that such a view must be shared by others, considering the quality of the food. So we put together this petition to show people just how much we want this fantastic party of noodles, meat, and veggies all somehow stuffed into one cup (just add water!) to be recognized as the greatest food in America. If you agree that Cup Noodles should be made the United State's national food, please sign this petition. Make your voice heard! You are doing the right thing.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
