We Demand Our Money Back

Carla Katz brought dozens of staff members, stewards, retirees, and spouses to Washington D.C. on a $40,000 junket paid for with our union dues.

We demand that she give the money back!


Dear President Cohen,

We, the undersigned members of CWA Local 1034, do hereby petition and demand that the Communications Workers of America, AFL-CIO, take all action necessary, up to and including engaging in litigation, to recover the funds that Carla Katz spent using dozens of staff, members, retirees and spouses to campaign for her at union expense at the District 1 Conference in Atlantic City and at the Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Please advise us, through the charging parties, Dan Antonellis, Jonathan Berg and Linda Kukor, what action the Union will bring to recover Local 1034 treasury funds.
