If I want to make a difference but I dont know how is a phrase you think or say often, keep reading. Most families will throw away recyclables if the bin is full. This is because the recycling does not come every week like it should. Two weeks worth of recycling can make a bin, even one of those mega ones, full. If the recycling came every week with the garbage, there would be more recycling. The more recycled, the more reused and the more trees saved. The more trees saved, the more oxygen is produced. Trees and other plants take the carbon dioxide we breathe out and convert it into oxygen. Carbon dioxide is not lethal, in small amounts, unlike carbon monoxide. In large quantities, carbon dioxide it is fatal. If we continue to destroy the only forests we have left, all it will accomplish is a slow and painful death of poisonous gas. We are slowly suffocating ourselves. The fewer trees we have, he less oxygen we have. In short, a single sheet of paper that is recycled may just save your life some day. If you are reading this, you probably care about our planet as well as I do. I was always one of those people who said I want to make a difference. I want to help our planet, but I never knew how. Now is our chance to make a change. We cant completely heal our planet but we can put a big Band-Aid on it and hopefully heal some wounds.
