Stop the canadian hydrogen cancerigenous factory(EAGRIUM) in Damietta,Egypt

We would like the Eagrium Nitrogen factory in Northern Egypt to stop immediately for the following reasons.







1. It will throw its wastes in Ras el Bar beach, thus it won;t be a beach anymore and no one would be able to swim or even go there, except if he wants to die or at least get infected!!!







2- 65% of the Egyptian seafood fortune come from Damietta, therefore most Egyptians will eat polluted seafood which might cause major diseases.



Egypt is a developing country and can't afford a loss of major source a food.







3. The Hard waste will be buried in a place called Shatta therefore there will be radiations that will affect the people, with things like cancer etc.







4. The factories smoke will reach 40 kilo meters. So it wont affect Damietta (Dumyat) only but also, most Mansoura villages, Diba villages, and the beginning of Port Said.







5. The factory didn't make any studies consideingr the environmental conditions or any Petrochemical factory rules.







6. the Canadian magazine " Corporate knights " that is specialized in societal responsibilities for manufacturing companies criticized EGRIUM and placed the company in the top 10 companies that affect the Canadian environment in 2005 because of an increase of 54 % in poison wastes from 2004 to 2005.











Therefore beautiful Ras elbar will lose its function as a resort . And many Dumyati people will get affected with cancer. Especially that there are houses near the factory with just 4 kilometers.
