This petition is created for the sole reason to urge the fans at Fenway Park to stand in total silence for Johnny Damon's first at bat with the Yankees on May 1st.

It's my opinion that the usual boo's and insults that are sure to be yelled at Damon will do nothing, but a stadium standing in silence would throw Johnny off and he'd be able to do nothing but strike out.

After the first at-bat, yelling is fine.

So if you have tickets to the game on May 1st, get the word out and sign this petition. Stand in silence and show Damon and the Yankees that we don't care that he's gone.
