Mr. Bush, Please Resign

To:  Mr. George W. Bush

In the Declaration of Independence, our Founding Fathers wrote:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,--"

For 211 years, the "consent of the governed" has been determined through democratic elections and by counting all of the votes.

But in the year 2000, all of the votes were not counted.

Mr. Bush, since you did not win the election, you do not have the "consent of the governed." Therefore, you are not the legitimate President of the United States.

Mr. Bush, if you love the United States of America, there is one action you can take to repair this intolerable violation of America's sacred democracy.

Mr. Bush, for the good of the nation, we call upon you - and your entire administration - to resign.
