Stop production on the remake of Yellow Submarine

Anyone who is into The Beatles . Know likely everything about them…They have an animated movie called “Yellow Submarine”, which is wildly considered the best animated film of all time.{By Beatles fans} But however on August 19th, 2009, it was announced that Disney and Robert Zemeckis are negotiating a deal that would lead to a remake of the 1968 film. Now personally if you ask me this is a rather poor choice. Now for those who don’t know Robert Zemeckis he is the director of the Back to the future trilogy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Forrest Gump .

Everyone hates the idea of a good film being remade; now I personally think that Yellow Submarine should be left alone. This is a good example on how Hollywood has completely run out of ideas for making movies. And most importantly Zemeckis has clearly long since forgotten how to make original movies, instead choosing to focus on remakes of the likes of Tron, A Christmas Carol (when clearly the Muppets' version was definitive) and now, The Beatles' Yellow Submarine.

He needs to stop. Yellow Submarine is a product of its era and can not possibly be remade with any kind of authenticity or charm in this day and age. So read my words….


DON’T REMAKE THIS MOVIE. END PRODUCTION NOW WHILE YOU STILL CAN. YOU’RE PISSING OFF A LOT OF BEATLES FANS. AND MAKING A VERY BIG MISTAKE
