O DeviantArt é um espaço invejável para a divulgação global de arte. Dele participam artistas de centenas de países, cada qual com sua língua, com a finalidade de mostrar o que produzem. Sendo assim, e entendendo que o inglês é a língua internacional vigente e que é inviável fazer traduções para as línguas de cada país participante, é interessante a todos os membros que não escrevem exclusivamente em inglês a inserção de determinados símbolos de sua língua. Atualmente, se determinadas formas de acento da língua portuguesa, por exemplo, não são aceitos, ou acabam por representar emoticons quando publicados no site. Isso, em nosso entendimento, afeta diretamente a estética da arte. Queremos a mudança disso.

Once we understand that english is the international language of our globalized world and that is impossible to make a translations to the languages of each country that makes part of it, is interest of all members that doesn't they write only em english the insertion of determined symbols of their languages. Determinated forms of accents from Portuguese language , for example , are not accepted or mean - when published - emoticons. This configuration, we think, affects directly the stetic of art. We are to ask DevianArt rulers to change this.
